I am a working mom of a 15-month-old daughter who lives in Loudoun County and wants to meet other moms (and dads) who understand what it is like to juggle parenting and all of the other demands of daily living in this area. I've looked for other meetups like this one, but most of the meetings are during the week during the day. This group is designed to provide a way for parents living in or near Parkfairfax Virginia to share ideas, meet other parents, and host activities.   The group is collaborative and all members are encouraged to post events and share ideas. We currently meet monthly on Sunday afternoons and also have monthly walks as well.  

Why I decided to start this group is because we are new to the area and would like to know if any Fil-Am (Filipino American) Families are around to have picnics, play dates with our children, and just a good kasamahan time.
